Personal information collected during this research will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
Only information reasonably necessary for the purposes of this research, including contacting potential participants, arranging and conducting research, managing research records, and administering the prize draw where applicable, will be collected.
Your information may be accessed by Lata Cosmetics, including its employees and contractors, and where reasonably necessary, by professional advisers or service providers involved in the development of the product.
Reasonable steps will be taken to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure.
You are not required by law to provide personal information for this research. However, choosing not to provide information that is reasonably necessary for participation may mean that you cannot participate fully.
Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to any applicable legal or legitimate record-keeping requirements.

Information provided during the research will be treated as confidential and used only for this research, including contacting potential participants, arranging and conducting research, managing research records, and administering the prize draw where applicable.
Participants may be assigned a participant number for research records. Where research findings are reviewed or shared for product-development purposes, information will be presented in an anonymised form wherever reasonably practicable.
Anonymised observations or quotations may be used in research, product-development or related business materials. Your name or other information that could reasonably identify you will not be used for these purposes without your separate consent.
If you provide your contact details for the purpose of future research or prototype testing, these details will be used for that purpose and, where reasonably practicable, kept separately from your research responses.

The prize draw is conducted by Lata Cosmetics, an independent New Zealand cosmetics brand.
Eligibility: Entry is open to participants who are 18 years or older and currently located in New Zealand. Each eligible participant may submit one entry only.
How to Enter: To enter the prize draw, you must complete a research interview with Lata Cosmetics and choose to enter the prize draw. Entry is optional.
Prize: One winner will receive a $50 Prezzy Card. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Closing Date: Entries close on November 1st 2026 at 11:59pm NZDT.
Winner Selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date. The winner will be selected using a random number generator.
Contacting the Winner: The winner will be contacted by email using the contact details provided when entering the draw. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Lata Cosmetics reserves the right to select another winner at random.
Participation in the research is voluntary and choosing not to enter the prize draw will not affect your participation in the research.
Personal information collected for the prize draw will be used to administer the draw and contact the winner. It will not be used for marketing purposes without your consent.
